- 5.3. Sequence Menu
-
- 5.3.1. Sequence > Quantize [K]
-
- Choosing this item quantizes selected events. The quantize process will be
- done based on parameters you specified in the "Quantize setup" dialog.
-
-
-
- 5.3.2. Sequence > Quantize setup...
-
- Choosing this item displays a dialog which allows you to specify parameters
- used for quantization.
-
- 1. Resolution: Specify the interval of "quantize-grid".
- 2. Sensitivity: Specify the sensitivity parameter which determines the
- threshold time (=resolution*sensitivity). The threshold time will be
- used to decide whether or not a note event is a target of quantization.
- In case sensitivity is positive, only note events in condition that the
- distance from a nearest quantize-grid is less than the threshold-time
- will be target of quantization. In case sensitivity is positive, only
- note events in condition that the distance from a nearest quantize-grid
- is longer than the threshold-time will be target of quantization.
- 3. Strength: Specify how strongly note events will be attracted to a
- quantize-grid. If you set this parameter to 100%, all note events will
- be placed at one of quantize-grids. If you set this parameter to 50%,
- note events will be placed at a half distance from a nearest grid.
- 4. Shift: Specify the shift parameter. Note events which have been targets
- of quantize will be shifted for specified steps.

-
-
- 5.3.3. Sequence > Reassign channel...
-
- Choosing this item reassigns channels of selected events. In a dialog which
- appears after choosing this item, you can specify the assign-table which is
- used to reassignment. If you check the option "Leave original", original
- events are not removed.
-
-
-
- 5.3.4. Sequence > Reassign track...
-
- Choosing this item reassigns tracks of selected events. In a dialog which
- appears after choosing this item, you can specify the source track number
- and the destination track number. If you check the option "Leave original",
- original events are not removed.
-
-
-
- 5.3.5. Sequence > Reassign event type...
-
- Choosing this item reassigns event types of selected events. You can specify
- the source event type and the destination event type. If you check the
- option "Leave original", original events are not removed.
-
-
-
- 5.3.6. Sequence > Parameter mapping...
-
- Choosing this item remaps parameters of selected events. You can specify the
- target event type and the mapping table.
-
-
-
- 5.3.7. Sequence > Misc > (module name) *[1-9]
-
- Choosing an item in this sub-menu executes function of the chosen plug-in
- module. The result of execution will be depended on a module. For details
- about functions provided by plug-in modules, refer the chapter
- "Customizing".
-
-
-
- 5.3.8. Sequence > Sequence setup...
-
- Choosing this item displays a dialog which allows you to specify parameters
- about the current sequence data.
-
- 1. Number of Tracks: Specify the number of tracks in the sequence. It is
- impossible to set this parameter to the value less than the number of
- tracks which already contains events. If you specify 2 or more to this
- parameter, the current sequence data will be save in standard MIDI file
- format 1.
- 2. Song length(bars): Specify the length of the sequence by the number of
- bars. It is impossible to set this parameter to the value less than the
- number of bars which already contains events.
- 3. Timebase: Specify the timebase (time-resolution) parameter of the
- sequence. If you change this parameter, you can not undo this
- operation.
